- Make sure your PC is connected to the internet.
- Open Settings by pressing Windows key + I.
- On Windows 11, go to System → Activation. On Windows 10, go to Update & Security → Activation.
- Select Change product key.
- Enter the 25-character key from your order email and follow the prompts.
When it works, the Activation page shows “Windows is activated”. For more detail, see How to activate a Windows product key.
