On Windows
- Windows key + Shift + S: select an area. The screenshot is copied, ready to paste into an email.
- Windows key + Print Screen: saves the whole screen to Pictures → Screenshots.
- Print Screen: copies the whole screen (on some PCs it opens the Snipping Tool instead).
On a Mac
- Shift + Command + 3: whole screen
- Shift + Command + 4: selected area
- Shift + Command + 5: screenshot and recording options
Mac screenshots are saved to the desktop by default. Sending us a screenshot of an error is the fastest way to get help.
